Regional Honor Board of Texas

Our Valley View ISD Board of Trustees was recognized on September 29, 2018, as a Regional Honor Board of Texas. One of only 16 school boards across the entire state of Texas to receive this prestigious state award! Each year, the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) recognizes school boards for their dedication and ethical service. As this year's recipients of the Regional Honor Board Award, the state is taking notice that our Board of Trustees is making a positive impact on our entire district - students, schools, and their community. Our Tiger Country is grateful and fortunate to have such an extraordinary leadership team worthy of state recognition. Thank you Valley View ISD School Board for volunteering your time as you give our district your outstanding service each and every day of the school year.

Superintendent Rolando Ramirez attributes the high grade to the district's programs that fill in the gaps for students who don't have a lot at home: free meals during and after school, community events with free vaccines and physical exams, and free services for parents.
