Dear Valley View ISD Community,
The fall semester is going well, and our students are once again experiencing some sense of normalcy despite the covid-19 pandemic. Without a doubt, we are in a much better place now than a year ago.

Students are back in classrooms learning in person and enjoying the daily interaction with their peers.  Our extracurricular programs are also up and running. Nevertheless, we cannot downplay the daily challenges that we still face in maintaining a safe environment at all our campuses.  Thanks to everyone’s hard work and effort in following CDC guidelines and district safety measures, our schools are safe and secure.  I sincerely thank you for doing your part.

Valley View ISD remains consistent in our commitment to providing learning experiences that support the development of the whole child.  Our staff is working diligently to provide quality education to all students on a daily basis and I am confident that our students will perform exceptionally well on local, state, and national performance measures.  Please feel free to visit your child’s campus if you have any questions regarding the district’s academic program.

Here are a few new initiatives for the 2021-2022 school year:
  • Monthly Town Hall Meetings- The district holds monthly town hall meetings at various campuses to discuss important topics of interest with our community.  Please be sure to check our district website to access the dates and times of these meetings.
  • Technology Integration- When used in meaningful ways, technology has the potential to transform student learning. We will continue to support teachers and students in the creative and purposeful use of technology to improve and support teaching and learning.
  • GPS on all School Buses- All of our school buses will be equipped with GPS to track students during transport from school to home and vice versa.
  • Electronic Entry Door System- All of our campuses will be equipped with entry door systems to monitor the entrance of visitors in our schools.
  • Social-Emotional Counseling Support- Counselors will be able to support students in meeting their social-emotional needs.

If you would like to learn more about any of our new initiatives, please do not hesitate to reach out to your campus principal or central office administration. We look forward to speaking with you.

Thank you for being part of our Valley View ISD community.
