A Season to Remember: Celebrating UIL Academic Success at Valley View ISD
As the school year wraps up, Valley View ISD is proud to celebrate an incredible UIL Academic season filled with dedication, talent, and success.
Our Journalism and Ready Writing teams made their mark by competing at every UIL Academic meet this year—and the results speak for themselves. At the District Meet, our Varsity Journalism team earned runner-up honors, and one of our students placed 2nd in Ready Writing.
The momentum continued at the Regional Meet, where Arianna Delgado advanced to the State UIL Academic Meet in two journalism writing categories—a rare and impressive feat.
At the State Meet, Arianna represented Valley View with pride and excellence, tying for 7th place in both categories. To put that into perspective, she ranked among the top 1.7% of academic competitors in all of Texas!
Arianna’s performance earned her a State Meet letterman patch and the admiration of our entire school community.
We couldn’t be prouder of Arianna and the entire UIL Academic team. Their success is a reflection of their hard work and the incredible support from our dedicated teachers and staff.
