I am so proud to share that our Valley View students and staff have made this holiday season brighter for children at Driscoll Children's Hospital! Through their hard work and big hearts, we collected an incredible 411 toys and gift cards that will bring smiles to young patients during the holidays.
Congratulations to Mr. Carranza, Mrs. Morales, Mr. Yniguez, Mr. Fernandez, Mr. Ochoa, and Mr. Pina for leading the way. We also extend sincere appreciation to all the administrators, teachers, and staff who sponsored classrooms and encouraged our students to participate.
This is the Tiger Kingdom spirit – where we make dreams come true through kindness and community service. I couldn't be prouder of our students and staff! 🐯💚

In this season of giving, our VVJH STUCO members and sponsors would like to thank every teacher who promoted this initiative and all the students who participated. We are proud to announce that we have broken our record for pet food donations this year. Our VVJH community gathered a total of 305.01 pounds of pet food for PVAS/Laurie P. Andrews Center. Thank you for your kindness; your donations will help feed animals in need.
Congratulations to Ms. Gloria Hernandez's 1st period class for donating 158.15 pounds of food. The class was treated to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & milk chocolate at the library. Special shout-out to Mr. Vizcaino's 1st period class, who had the most student participation. Way to go!

On Friday, our Central Office team delivered holiday gifts🎁 to over 70 students. The amazing part is that they funded everything from their own pockets and through personal donations. This is what Valley View stands for—a team that not only works for our kids but genuinely cares about making their holidays brighter. What a magical night we had at the City of Hidalgo Festival of Lights Parade! Our students and staff truly embraced the Christmas spirit, and it was such an incredible time. A huge shoutout to our wonderful Board of Trustees for their amazing support, and a big thank you to Mayor Sergio Coronado and the Commissioners for the invitation!
We also want to give a round of applause to Valley View South Elementary for snagging 1st Place 🏆with their stunning float! A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers, staff, parents, and volunteers who made the floats so special—each one was fantastic. It was teamwork at its best. Way to go, Tigers! 🐯✨🐾

🤖🐯 Robotics Day at Valley View South Elementary 🤖🐯
Our High School Robotics Team hosted "Robotics Day" at Valley View South Elementary. They brought along our complete competition robot, a portion of the competition field, Sphero, and Makey Makey for the students to enjoy. The Robotics Team was proud to inspire and encourage elementary students to consider STEM-related fields and to show them how technology and programming are used in their everyday lives. A big thank you to Mr. Randy Perez, our Robotics Sponsor, and the entire team. Great job, Tigers! ✨🐾🐯🤖
