What an incredible 2024-2025 school year for our GEAR UP program! Our amazing students and families participated in activities that fostered growth, engagement, and great memories. The Spring STAAR EOC assessment results will be available to families on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Grades 3–8 Assessment results will be available to families on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The easiest way for parents and guardians to access the Family Portal is through a district’s local ParentPortal. Please register for the Parent Portal to access your child’s scores. ***Parents and guardians can also access the Family Portal by visiting the Texas Assessment website or directly at https://txfamilyportal.org using the student's unique access code, date of birth, and first name. On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we enjoy today, made possible by those who laid down their lives in defense of our nation. To the families and loved ones of the fallen, please accept our heartfelt thanks and continued support. Your loved ones are heroes, and their legacy lives on in our hearts.

Valley View ISD Celebrates UIL Academic Success Valley View ISD is proud to end the school year with an outstanding UIL Academic season. Our Journalism and Ready Writing teams competed at every meet, earning top honors along the way. At the District Meet, our Varsity Journalism team finished as runner-up, and a student placed 2nd in Ready Writing. At Regionals, Arianna Delgado advanced to the State Meet in two journalism categories—a huge accomplishment! At the State Meet, Arianna tied for 7th place in both events, ranking in the top 1.7% of students across Texas. She earned a State Meet letterman patch and major bragging rights. We are proud of Arianna and grateful to all our staff for their continued support. Go Valley View!

We proudly congratulate 25 high school students from VVISD for completing the rigorous UTSA Spanish Minor program, showcasing their college-level mastery of the Spanish language. These students have also received the Seal of Biliteracy, demonstrating advanced bilingual proficiency and cultural literacy, and are granted automatic admission to the UTSA Honors College. This achievement reflects their dedication, the commitment of our educators, and our partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Join us for the Transition Fair hosted by VVISD Special Education Department. A variety of state & local agencies will be in attendance to connect with families of individuals with disabilities by providing valuable resources, tools, and guidance. Valley View ISD Elementary schools hosted a very special Kindergarten Signing Day this week to help students and their parents feel more connected to their school. Our PK 4 students signed a pledge, met the kindergarten teachers, enjoyed snacks in a special ceremony, and were provided a school uniform as a gift for participating in the event. Our Students are Ready and On their Way to Kindergarten at Valley View ISD!
